CELL C IS deducting 25 amounts instead of 24 amounts from your bank account for 24 month contract

The telephone had a 24 month contact from date of purchase/agreement with a completion date of 4th May 2019 (with a one month cancellation required i.e. 4th April 2019 or before) On 25th Feb 2019 I gave more than a month’s notice that as the phone was not in use I required to cancel on 4th May 2019. On 1st March you accepted this notification-see below The first deduction was May 2017 then the last should have been April 2019 which is 24 months.

The contact was terminated and to load data as you say, after a contact had expired was wrong as we had given notice which you accepted.

The payment had a stop order after the 24 months and you took a 25th month May 2019 which is THEFT KINDLY REFUND R561.88

Hi May W

Thank you for getting in touch.

It is normal to have an extra debit order the following month, for usage incurred in the last month.

Please send your Cell C, email address and an alternative contact number to ***. We will look into this matter.

Two months notice was given on this contract, only if it is not cancelled in time do you have the right to charge another month of usage, this contract did not allow for extra usage in a month. Also you are charging the customer for the cost of the appliance in month 25???-it is THEFT it is out side the contract-If you do this practice as normal-you are committing serial THEFT and you should be fined for such actions to all concerned-RETURN THE MONEY-
Secondly after 24 months of debits, we put a stop on the May deduction of R561.88, as it was over-you later split the amount into R500 and R61.88 on 27th June, and the debit went through...Devious AND PRACTICED THEFT>>>>
RETURN THE MONEY

These people had the audacity to phone and ask what the problem was they didnt even read these remarks or investigate internally needless to say I am extremely angry at being asked to go through it all again they even asked for their email to see that they had agreed to cancel contract in March already
