Cell C is breaking the law by not issuing invoices and/or receipts

As per my previous review, Cell C refuses to supply receipts or invoices for prepaid recharges or data purchases: https://www.hellopeter.com/cell-c/reviews/blatant-consumer-abuse-and-missing-customer-data-at-cell-c-***

I don't understand how Cell C can be SARS compliant if their systems are a complete shambles. Examples: 1. In the Cell C dashboard (web) only one invoice is available for 2024. The other 4 or 5 have all disappeared or were never issued. 2. No invoices or receipts are available on the mobile app. 3. When buying prepaid data on the app you are asked if you would like an invoice emailed to you. This never happens. 4. THE MOST BIZARRE OF ALL CELL C's BUNGLING: When I asked Cell C to email me invoices and/or receipts for 2023/2024 their response was that their systems can't do that. This despite the fact that the previous year, they were perfectly able to do so. With other words, Cell C's systems are actually regressing under new CEO, Jorge Mendes.

Cell C is also breaking the law in terms of the Consumer Protection Act which clearly states that receipts or invoices MUST be issued for each transaction.

They clearly don't care about you as the consumer, so my advice would be to not use them for serious business purposes at all. My clients have all been advised to keep or move their (million rand) cellular contracts elsewhere. Hopefully we can bankrupt these clowns if SARS, ICASA or the National Consumer Commission don't want to hold them accountable.

Have you fixed your systems yet?
Can Cell C prepaid users access their receipts and invoices for the past year on the Cell C website or app? Are you aware that according to your IT department:
"Unfortunately, due to recent system changes, our IT department has confirmed that they are unable to retrieve the relevant [prepaid] recharge information [invoices or receipts]."

Answer those questions first before I allow you to waste my time again.

The matter was investigated by your IT department. I just gave you their response. And no ,you don't need my number to answer general questions. Why are you being dishonest?

You are being blatantly dishonest. I asked you general questions that do not require my details. I'm asking them again:
1. Can Cell C prepaid users access their receipts and/or invoices for the past year on the Cell C website or app?
2. Alternatively, can Cell C's IT department access a prepaid user's receipts and/or invoices for the past year?

I have already liaised with your IT department. They said they are not able to access invoices or receipts for the past year, which is absolutely mind-boggling and in contravention of several laws.

Here's the email Cell C sent me: " We have investigated your request regarding your recharge history. Unfortunately, due to recent system changes, our IT department has confirmed that they are unable to retrieve the relevant recharge information. "

Stop asking me for my personal details when I'm asking you a general question. You can ask your IT department how far back they can provide tax invoices/receipts for >>prepaid<< transactions FOR ALL USERS.

This issue should affect everyone, not just me. Unless of course your IT department **** and you are trying to cover it up now?

I'm starting to suspect that you are deliberately misinterpreting my request, which amounts to further consumer abuse.

Are you kidding me?

You are refusing to answer a simple question: "How far back can your IT department provide tax invoices/receipts for >>prepaid<< transactions?"

I don't want to be contacted by your useless support team. I want you to get the answer and publish it here so that everyone can see it.

I find it shocking that a customer service agent refuses or is incapable of asking another department a simple question in order to assist a customer.
