Cell C is *****.

I was offered month to month contract by cell c over the phone and I rejected telling the sales man that I with my previous experience with network service provider I did not want anything binding and he assured me that it was not binding I can cancel at any time. Then I took the contract. They called me that they would like to upgrade it with better Befits and it comes with a router then I asked if the Ts&cs are the same and he said yes. As time goes I realized that cell c was not taking their money on time and it would register as missed payment and most of the I did not have proper coverage when it comes to the data so I decided to cancel in May 2023 and I had a shock of my life I was told that I had a binding contract for 24 months 🙃 so they refused to cancel however I asked to speak to the manager and I spoke to Modibedi and he testify that he listened to the recording and he had me saying that I don't need a binding contract and he promised to fix it but nothing was done.. I went far as their social media to report the case they did an investigation and still testify that I said I do not need a binding contract but nothing was done the person who was dealing with the investigation is Busisiwe Mathebula. I reported the case to consumer protection Act and they requested for the recoding but cell c refused to release them. I paid them in full but I am still blacklisted. As I am looking for a place to stay I was always rejected because of cell c.
