Cell C Internal ***** - Pure Incompatancy and *******ion - Hillcrest Cell C

In this day of electronic transactions, it is easy to see who makes a transactions. My mother-in-law has been on the recieving end of a ***** internal to the Cell C Hillcrest branch and four weeks later still no resolution.

My mother in law has a Cell C Contract, which was due for renewal on 11/09/2016. However, as she was going overseas from 29/07/2016 to 16/09/2016 she informed Cell C Hillcrest that she did not want a new phone. Clearly someone heard this information and thought "chance for some theft". Instead she wanted to move to a call only contract and she was told that her monthly payment would reduce from R209.00 to R110.00.

When she returned from Europe and checked her E-mails she discovered that a proposed contract for an Apple I Phone as an upgrade had been sent to her and an amount of R 275.00 had been deducted from her account. (Agreement Number: ********** ********** 162807)

It appears that the upgrade was done on 17/08/2016 and a SIM swop had been done!!! Where was the ID of the person?

So, on 19/09/2016 she went to Cell C Hillcrest and she was told that she must sign an affidavit. This was done immediately and handed in to Cell C that SAME DAY.

An Sms was received on 19/09/2016to say that the query had been received and a reference no. given. i.e. ********** 638.

Another SMS was received on 20/09/206 with a difference ref. no. i.e. ********** 379

On 26/09/2016 she received another request for affidavit and copy of I.D from e-mail address ********** confirmed that the Hillcrest branch had already forwarded these and E-mailed that info to them. A different ref. no. was supp**** i.e. ********** 420.

In the meantime she now had to buy data and airtime for the Samsung cellphone as I have received nothing from Cell C.

Then she received an account for R1125.01 which she presumes is for the Apple I Phone. Since this withdraw caused her bank account to go over the limit and now she has to pay penalties! I should be noted that she has not and has never had the Apple Cell Phone in her possession.

She then phoned 3 different numbers at Cell C today to try and obtain information and got nowhere, except that the problem is being dealt with by their ***** department and when the problem is solved the incorrect debits will be reversed. A new ref. No i.e. ********** 386 was supp****.

Then she was told that the affidavit has not been received, so she sent it again. Cell C in Hillcrest insist that this was done on 19/09/2016.

To top it all - the NEXT MONTH'S costs have already been deducted from her account!!!!

Can we please get this resolved and my mom-in-law's account REFUNDED with the data that she paid for and was ****** and get soemthing in writing from Cell C that this is ACTUALLY resolved.
