Cell C Insurance is the worst!
Cell C Insurance: my first time dealing with the Insurance side of Cell C and it was terrible! So much frustration and anxiety. Herewith a summary of my dealings: 22 March '22: booked broken device in at Cell C Savannah branch Polokwane, they advise it will take a minimum of 20 working days from processing to repairs. 28 April 22: Never received any communication from Cell C with regards to my claim, so I contact them and the consultant rep**** that they are still waiting for the quote from Repairs, after further questions I was asked to hold, a while later the respond was: the quote is received and will be forwarded to the Insurance Co. 29 April '22: I phone again and was informed to pay the excess fee of R650.00. I checked my emails and find the email regarding the excess payment. The consultant could not informed me whether the device will be repaired or replaced. I paid the excess and forward the proof of payment via email, asking about the outcome of the device and how long it will take. No response. 9 May '22: I phone to query the progress. The consultant rep**** that it is currently at repairs and I should query again after 7 to 14 days. 16 May '22: I phone again - the consultant rep**** that they received approval from the Insurance on the 11th of May and I must follow up after a week. 23 May '22: I phone to follow up - the consultant inform me that the device was sent back to Cell C Savannah because it took too long, and that I must book the device again for repairs.
I collected the broken device at Cell C Savannah Polokwane. I can no longer deal with this Company and its bad service. I'm cancelling this policy. Will repair the device on my own means and the R650.00 excess already paid is my loss for believing that the services I paid for every month, will actually be provided.
