Cell C Insurance could be a ****

Over the last two weeks I have had arguably the worst experience in customer service with you lot. On Saturday 6th July, I went into your store in Campus Square Melville, to report my phone damaged and claim under the C Surance cover I took out with the device. One of the store consultants provided me with forms to fill out and advised me to get an affidavit from the police station as per normal processes. He further advised me to rather report the device as lost or ****** as the "claim consultants would give me less problems with such a claim, which as a customer needing a phone, I comp**** with his advise. When I later called in to complete my claim, the excess had almost more than tripled from the R500 that I knew I needed to pay for my damaged phone and now stands at R1294, for a lost phone, that they have in store, I should add. Over the days that followed were back and forth calls with C surance and the store to rectify this, today I am at wits and have went as far as going back to the store and collecting my damaged phone from them as they had done absolutely nothing to process my claim and the store manager had "Whatsapped" them yesterday the 17th of Jully to book it in for repairs. Either this a group of *********** people that just happen to be employed by you or as I am starting to conclude, this could be a practice instructed by you to your staff to not only get unsuspecting clients to pay inflated excesses and you still keep the goods to be refurbished. Being a new client, I think the next step is to settle my account with you lot and take my business elsewhere. calling this whole experience appalling would be in understatement
