Cell C Insurance

I got ****** on the 7th of August my cellphone was take away at a gun point,as we are living dangerous country,hence I insured my device when I took my contract with Cell C,and my insurance was underwritten by Holland.

One of Cell C consultants contacted me telephonically to pursue me that they have a specials on Cell devices and it would be advisable to also take it with insurance as we live in a dangerous society,I was attracted by their prices and accepted the offer together with insurance and the device was delivered without any hustles.

When I reported the matter to Cell C and I was told to go and open a case at my nearest police station and I did axactly,and obtained a case number and forwarded it to them.

I was very disappointed when I was informed that my device was not insured yet they have been deducting every month and was told that my insurance only covers damaged phones not lost phones.

Can my issue be resolved as I am still paying for the lost device and insurance is still deducted every month.
