Cell C *****ing my money

On 27 August, I made an EFT payment of R3738.42 to CellC using the exact reference number provided to me by one of their own call centre agents. I immediately forwarded the proof of payment to the official email address I was given.

Despite doing everything correctly and in good faith, on 03 September I received a shocking and threatening message from CellC stating that I would be handed over to their lawyers. This is beyond outrageous.

CellC, how dare you treat a paying customer like a ******** after I followed YOUR instructions word for word? I will not tolerate being threatened when I have done my part. This is harassment, ************, and completely unprofessional behavior.

I demand immediate resolution, correction of my account, and a formal apology for the unnecessary stress caused. If this is not resolved without delay, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter to the Consumer Protection Ombudsman, National Credit Regulator, and pursue every legal avenue available.

Customers deserve honesty, accountability, and respect — not threats.
