Cell C ineffectiveness

I have been trying to cancel my contract with Cell C since February 2018, but to this day, I am still under contract.

I went into the branch where I was told they do not do cancellations and that I should rather phone the network, which I did and was helped. The contract was set to end at the end of April 2018, to this day, nothing. I then went into the branch again to ask the progress , where I was told nothing was done or updated and that the contract is still going. I went to a different branch in Cape Gate Mall, where I was told that the contract was cancelled. I then left knowing that there will be no further deductions. To my surprise, they were still deducting the amount end of May 2018 and June 2018. Then I went into the branch in Paarl Mall again, where I was told that the contract wasn't cancelled and I asked the lady who assisted me to please follow up with this issue as I phoned the network to cancel the contract months ago. To this day I haven't received any communication from Cell C branch in Paarl Mall regarding my contract, the cancellation and the refunds for the months after April 2018. Further to my surprise, there were two months where Cell C did not even credited the contract with airtime. So, the contract with Cell C is still going on after I phoned them to cancel before the time.
