Cell C - Impossible to give notice of Cell phone contract cancellation

It is near impossible to give notice that you want to cancel your Cell C contract - even though the full term will expire in one month . I have tried so numerous times - telephonically, on the Cell C App and via email - but the use various stalling techniques; and keep trying to make you take out another contract! This Cell phone company's service sucks!
