Cell C ignoring refund owed for expired contract

Cell C has been incorrectly debiting my account on a monthly basis for an expired fixed-term contract. The contract was for a term of 12 month to terminate on conclusion yet they were incorrectly debiting consistently on a monthly basis an amount of R299.00 long past the expiry of this contact - which is expired, and not in use. I explicitly asked at the time of taking out the contract if it could be renewed after 12 months, and was clearly told NO, the contract would terminate after the 12 months were up.

I sent a request in writing Dec 2014, and followed up multiple times in January, April and again in June. In January, the retentions department finally called me after a number of follow-ups, and I insisted they action cancellation on the debit order. I was told the refund request was \with legal"who would respond to me separately.

Each time I followed up in writing"
