I am so ****ed right now!!

Just received a email from cell c as per Cell C SP Statements Account ***.

I fail to understand how they can decide on your behalf without any consent, after your contract has expired to change it to a month to month basis.

I have informed them several times that my Sim card expired and that's like two years back. They told me that I had to pay a fee to get a new Sim card of which doesn't make sense while you're an active member.

I decided not to get the Sim card and from that moment never used 1kb of data since. But I continued to pay my account faithfully until it expired end of July 2024.

But now I receive an email that the contract has been changed to a month to month of which I never gave no consent or have any knowledge of agreeing too.

I explicitly expressed my regret on a mail I sent to them, saying I no longer wanted the contract to continue, but to my surprise they are still billing my account. This is being done knowing my sim card is expired and their data was not used for 24 months plus.

I want people to know that they are ****s, forcing people to pay for services that was never used.
