Cell C Home Connecta? More like No Connecta!

I purchased a Cell C Home Connecta SIM card a month ago and it has been such a disappointing experience.

I was only able to use their data for about a week and in that time, the connection was painfully slow, despite the fact that I live in an area which, according to Cell C, is supposed to have great network coverage. Then after the first week, the SIM card inexplicably stopped working. No network connection whatsoever! I have called Cell C’s customer service and technical service countless times and they don’t seem to have a fix for this. Instead I have been offered many an ineffective solution. They seem to be making it up on the spot, if I’m being honest.

So, to recap, in the month that I’ve had a Home Connecta SIM card, I’ve only been able to use it for a week with ********** network connection, and now it has stopped working and Cell C doesn’t seem to know what the problem is. I’ve since heard similar stories from a few other people.

I truly regret buying this SIM card. It’s not as good as advertised. Save yourself the trouble.
