CELL C Home Connecta LTE Lying Data Network

Cell C advertised this new Home Connecta LTE Data card and network works through MTN data network giving best roaming experience to the consumer! I bought a sim card and data to try out this network. The LTE network works ok when you have power. However when there is a power outage then the LTE network goes down in the area for the duration of the power outage meaning there is NO LTE data network coverage. The network does not even switch over to either Vodacom or MTN in times of no coverage. Contacted Cell C via Facebook and Customer Care just to be told that the network does not operate during power outages and does not switch over to roam on other networks as Cell C stated in the media would happen with roaming agreements. Cell C does NOT take responsibility or guarantee network coverage during power outages for data coverage. With this point I want to warn people NOT to buy and use Cell C data cards and data in these times as you will have no network data coverage in the area. Cell C **** in the media stating that when there is no coverage then it will roam on MTN data network which is a lie. Rather stick to VodaCom, MTN and Telkom to have data coverage during power outages for LTE Data usage and coverage!
