Cell C has to be messing with me, right?

How is it that you can tell Cell C multiple times that you are unemployed and cannot afford them and the cancellation process takes three months? My experience began in December when I called to confirm the end of my contract, I advised that I was unemployed and required cancellation as soon as the contract ended, I called again in January to confirm that this will be done and then I was told that I didn't call in December as there is no call log, then I called in Feb and the same problem...now my contract has already expired and I am still paying for it. I am calling constantly, and I wondered that if every agent I spoke to would just cancel the account instead of obsessing about where that first cancellation call went, I'd have a cancelled contract by now...but as such Cell C continues to make it hard for me to separate from them, and I can appreciate that business tactic, I can even commend it, but they are playing with my money here, money that I clearly don't have .

Cancelling your contract should not be this frustrating.  We apologize for the delay in processing your request.
