Cell C frustrating customer service

I wanted to cancel my contract on the 15th of October 2018. I spoke to the retentions department that offered me a deal of 2 gigs per month plus 900 minutes for R399 pm. I did not require a cell phone so just required a data & minutes deal.

They mentioned that it would be action on 17 November 2018. I checked my minutes after this date with no balance and thought to wait until 1 December to check maybe it will reflect in the new month. No minutes were allocated. I phoned the call centre that told me I only had a 4gig day & 4 gig night package for R99pm. They escalated the matter to the support team with a reference nr ********** 189. They would call me back in 2 days. I phoned the call centre on Monday and they then told me it was 2 working days so I waited and on the 5th someone contacted me explaining that there had been a mistake that they would rectify that same day and they would send me a sms notification once it has been done. I also enquired about my bill seeing that I do not want to get a huge account because no one is resolving my query and the consultant told me not to worry everything will be sorted and I will be billed R399 at the end of the month.

On the 11th I phoned Cell C again spoke to the call centre who transferred me to retentions the line got cut off and when I phoned again they told me that the case was still open and she escalated it again and that the offering I received was not really in line with what Cell C could offer.

I emailed cell c retentions on the 12th of December and still no feedback.

So my question is what happens in the meantime until this is resolved? I require confirmation that the calls I make will form part of the package that Cell C offered me. I am going on holiday and need this to resolved but no assistance from Cell C after numerous calls
