Cell C ********** promotional agenda

Hello, Cell C! long story short. I received the SMS making an offer of 1gig bonus data should I reload with R50 once off, which i did, 2 days later I have not seen this 1gig. Instead a 2nd SMS suggesting I do the same again. Your call centre has been of no help. They suggested I email custserv ... Still no word. I do hope those with no access to email are not being subjected to this tedious exercise to remedy a seemingly ********** agenda to get people to buy airtime and later have to defend their claim to the promotional promise. Please may I be assisted? The 1gig bonus data would be highly appreciated immediately as my buying of the airtime was subject to an immediate need for the promised data. This is utterly disappointing.

Rediculous delay tactic has been done. I have sent the proof of purchase of my device. All in the name of receiving a promotional offer made out to me. I await a response myself.

Hello ... How efficient is communication with you people actually? Does such a blatant misrepresentation require 48hrs to resolve? And does it make sense that none of my emails have not actually been acknowledged on email but rather i seem to have to depend on hello peter for assistance. As it stands resolving this is costing me much more than i had ever intended when agreeing to a simple R50 airtime purchase. Grossly irritated.

It is so disconcerting to constantly have to engage with your customer care or technical guys who have absolutely no access to any information or resources to assist in problems. They themselves say the system does not allow them to assist effectively. Using a cell c device is a nightmare but using a cell c sim card is torture close enough to *****. Besides the data still owed to me which I vehemently out of rage asked to opt out of, my cell c device is now going through my data in minutes on me just reading an article. Customer care tells me it takes a month for them to gather info regarding day to day data usage. Wow! One guy even told me the assistance I received this morning was poorly done by the customer care agent and is likely to be unsuccessful. Meanwhile I am waiting to hear back from Cell C. All of this has been costly on my airtime and pocket, which cell c seems to only be interested in me loading airtime. I have had the poorest customer care engagement of all time and I give in actually. As soon as I can, hopefully within the month, i will rid myself of this cell c device and never ever consider a cell sim card and the ********** promotional offers. I am beyond disappointed. I am just in shock really.

Good afternoon Phuti

As per the feedback that was provided when you logged your review with us. The consultant advised that a recharge of R50 was completed while there was an outstanding balance of R11 for emergency airtime, the system then automatically took away the R11 owed by you and recharged the remaining amount of R39. She further advised that in order to get the additional data you would need to do a once-off R50 recharge. Therefore, Cell C does not owe you ant data.

We will get one of our team members to contact you and assist.
