Cell C - ***** - Poor service

After engaging with many people at Cell, at various levels, over the course of the past month, it is clear that to me that Cell C has become rotten throughout all levels of the business. If you choose to become a Cell C customer, you need to be aware that you are vulnerable to ********** contracts taken out on your name. Cell C will not send you any proof how the contracts where initiated, without an OTP, sent to your line, without FICA documentation, and without a signed contract. You will have to prove your innocence or be subjected to the debit orders. You will spend countless hours over numerous weeks in an attempt to resolve the issue, all while engaging with multiple people who have no desire or ability to assist you. You will be promised a ***** indent report that you will never receive and you will never find out how the contracts were initiated in your name without any due processes adhered to. They will do whatever it takes to escape accountability and simply deploy junior cannon fodder staff to tire you out until you go give up. I have no hope remaining for my quest to find answers or to hold the ********* who committed ***** to account. Cell C managed to bury another ***** case without having to answer from it. My only comfort is knowing that my message reached you, a potential Cell C customer and that I may have spared you the pain I have endured by steering you away from this ******* enterprise. Whatever your reasons for considering their services, it’s not worth it. Run!

Instead of sorting the matter as promised above, Cell C has now billed me for the ********** contracts taken out on my name, after assuring me that that they wouldn't. Their incompetence truly knows no bounds.

Rather go with a proper network provider... these guys are clowns!

I'm being contacted being Cell C wanting information about “the contract I took out during the month of May”. I explained on several occasions that the contracts were entered into **********ly and that the matter was already resolved during July. The consultant explained that she ‘doesn’t know about that because it’s showing active on the system’. After some back and forth was put through to ‘customer service’. I had to re-explain the situation to a Mr. Roberts again, who then advised that this most likely relates to a legal matter. He proceeded to put me through to the ‘legal department’ where I held the line for 50 minutes before speaking to Ms Nkosi from EDC-quires. After expressing my dissatisfaction for reaching another dead-end, she supp**** me with Mr Sing’s number, the manager, who quickly identified the cause of my harassment. It seems the ***** case is still reflecting “open” on the system. In my frustration, I requested to be compensated in some small way for my time wasted due to defunct processes and inept staff. Let's see what they say...

I'm closing this chapter. Cell C has completely ignored all request for compensation, no matter how small the gesture. It's clear why the are going bankrupt... Good riddance to bad *******.
