CELL C *****
i have been a customer of Cell C for the past 15-20 years. My husband got retrenched and i lost my job due to Covid 19. I have paid an amount of R676.19 in February 2021 in terms of my contract but was still outstanding the amount of R1 289. I cancelled my contract in November 2020. for my cellphone but my husband's cellphone could only be cancelled now in March/April 2021. I paid with my last money the full amount outstanding. Now Cell C does not want to give back his number and also not give the benefits. His cellphone was blocked and he could not use the benefits. So after payment now they refuse to give the benefits. Outstanding money for device was R54.54 as per statements. On 6th of April 2021 i send them an email with proof of payment and requested that the cellphone be switched on. A week later no one has even bothered to answer me. I do have all the telephone calls recorded on my phone. Even the one of which Sipho from Cell C informed me that it will take 2 working days. No everyone is ignoring me. I need action now please. This is unacceptable. He is an electrician and this is his only number to get in work but now that it has been blocked and switched off he does not earn any income for the past week. I need urgent intervention. This constitutes ***** as Cell C is taking my money but not adhering to the contract
