Cell C ***** contract sms

I received the following text: OTP number:****** Your Cell C contract is almost approved. Please call 084 151, option 1, if you did not apply. Cell C. I did NOT take out a new contract.

Reading other reviews on here, the call centre wont be able to help me with this. I will most definitely take it up with my bank if I get debited. I never had, never will, have a Cell C contract and this is just plain ***** and day light *******. Reports of this as early as 2016!
