Cell C Fibre Promotion

I am so unbelievably dissatisfied with the service received by the Cell C Fibre department. Upon signing up to their promo @ R699 the sales consultant ensured me that if I made payment immediately, SADV will recieve the request within 3 days and that it will take 7 to 14 working days for installation.

I phoned SADV on the 4th day and they had no information regarding installation. They advised me to check up with Cell C. When I phoned Cell C's Customer Service department, they told me that I am escalating unnecessarily as it will take 4 to 6 weeks and it is still "early days".

If this is the case, why did the sales consultant tell me that it would be 7 to 14 days?

This is my first interaction with Cell C and I am very dissatisfied to the point where I am honestly considering canceling should the matter not be resolved quickly.
