Cell C Fiber

Cell C Fiber, worst company I have ever tried to use to sign up & use as a FTTH service provider.

After many weeks of browsing for a FTTH service provider, I finally signed up with Cell C, the way it works with Cell C is you pay the 1st month's installment upfront & then they start the process of installing or arranging with Vumatel to install your CPE inside your house. They also fit the bill for the installation costs. I paid this on the 29th of September, R907.00. 3 and half weeks later I contacted the salesman, Khumbelo Dzege, who at this stage had no idea who I was & that with my ID number did not exist on their system. I then decided to cancel before it was even installed poorly due to the lack of communication, interaction & just keeping a customer informed about the status or progress.

On the 2nd of November I finally received a mail, stating that my money would be refunded in the next 14 days, 16th of November, still no refund. On Friday the 16th I started the arduous process again of trying find a resolution & why I have not received my refund. The matter is still ongoing. Today I again received a mail asking for proof of payment, after having already received confirmation of refund I submitted proof again, I wonder how it will take this time only for them to lie to me again.
