Cell C fails to keep a promise

It is my sad duty to report the debacle that followed the replacement of my dergistered SIM card recently.

After reporting the problem on Hello Peter, I was phoned on a Saturday morning while I was treating patients. The Cell C agent apologised and said that he would not charge me the R 50 service fee for registering my SIM card and that he would give me data.

I am afraid that the promises were not kept. When I went to the Cell C gateway store for help that Friday night with my deregistered SIM card there was a queue of irate customers who had the same problem. There were only two staff members trying to cope and I was forced to leave without getting help as I had promised to meet my colleagues at 7 pm. Yes, one of the topics of conversation was which mobile phone operator is the best?
