Cell-C fails on debit order details change request.
My bank account got upgraded and with that my account number changed. I contacted all my Debit Order companies and changed over to the new bank account number without any problems. Until I phoned Cell C. I've been in contract with Cell C for the last 22 months and never missed any payments on my contract. So, Cell C informs me that I will need a bank confirmation letter, 3 months of statements and that my bank account should be older than 3 months. And even though my Cell-C account has been in good standing, their system insists on it. WHY? Why do I need to provide you with all of that. Most other Debit Order credit companies simply accepted a phone call for changing my debit order account number. After 22 months you don't trust me? Well, 2 months to go (of manual eft payments - Hopefully I remember, then I'll be closing this contract account.
Wake up Cell C, the year is 2025.
