Cell C EPIC FAIL AGAIN..!

About two and a half months ago, I was contacted by a very aggressive telesales person from Cell C who went to great lengths to tell me that I had been selected for a "special deal" - Data and a home router.

After rambling on and trying to strong arm me into signing this new contract I eventually lost my cool and told him to get lost... clearly he did not know that I already have a contract with Cell C, and after our discussion, he did his homework and discovered this fact. He must have called me 7 times to apologise and eventually signed for this new contract. He rushed through everything to get the deal done - bang I have a new WIFI Router and Data, what could go wrong?!

Fast forward to yesterday - 12/11/18 - Trying to call a toll free number, I am informed by an automated voice system that I have exceded my credit limit (on my unlimited call contract!!!) - Imagine my surprise? I called Cell C only to be informed that my account is in arrears and my data line has been suspended because the debit order for my data line had been returned by the bank (no such account..!).

Imagine my frustration - Firstly, when the payment for R 500 is returned with a "No Such Account" fault, surely someone at Cell C would have picked up the phone to sort out the issue. Secondly, the fact that my debit order in excess of R2500 rand goes through every month for the past 3 years without fail should have alerted someone that there was an issue with the new line - but no, just suspend the line..!

Why should I as a customer be subjected to this treatment because of Cell C's ineptitude. Why should I tolerate this Cell C's call centre slovenliness and attitude that has a call centre operator sighing when I was explaining the situation - just not good enough!

I cancelled 3 lines with Vodacom because of bad service and poor attitude - I have no problem doing the same with this operation!

Cell C - you'd better lift your game and make this go away before I do..!
