Cell C

Totally disgusted with Cell C. Received a SMS that international roaming has been activated on my phone. I did not ask for it. Phoned them from that phone and after about 20 minutes somebody finally picked up. They identified me as a Mr Muller, which I am not. They confirmed that the mistake was on their side, but wanted all my personal particulars before they could do anything. When they started asking about my bank particulars, I baulked. Obviously Cell C lives in a world where phishing, ******** etc do not exist. So, I am now on international roaming without asking for it and Cell C cannot rectify THEIR mistake unless I am willing to divulge personal particulars. Not happening. Expect a request to transport my number to Vodacom shortly.
