Cell C doesn't care about customer service

Cell C has deactivated my cellphone number, which I had for 23 years, and this is my personal number. I canceled a contract with cell c that was under my late husband's name, and they permanently deactivated my cellphone number. How do I get my number back. I have been a loyal customer for past and decade now, and this is what they do to me.
