Cell c with out notification changed debit order dates resulting in a failed debit order. Putting the hassle aside we did a direct deposit at Nedbank. According to the teller cell c cannot use account numbers as a reference so he added zero to the beginning of the account number. Proof of payment was emailed to cell c but not processed. Now cell c is suspending telephone lines all in the meanwhile payment was made when it was due. Cell c is clearly incapable of operating a multi national business if you cannot get simple banking procedures correct, how do you expect to grow? Since payment was made and the fault was on cell c side. Cell c is liable for any days resulting in lost service. The account will have to be pro-rated and credited accordingly. Companies need to be liable and responsible for failure to operate efficiently and in good faith.
