Cell C Delay – ITC Removal Still Not Actioned (Case ***)

We paid Cell C in full on 16 August 2025 under Case ***, but there is still no confirmation that our Director has been cleared from ITC. This delay is directly blocking the purchase of a vehicle needed for our company. The Credit Team remains silent despite repeated follow-ups. We demand urgent confirmation of removal.

The account was originally compromised when our Director’s phone was hacked (reported to SAPS) and was cancelled instore. No invoices or statements were ever received, yet a debit order was linked without communication. We only discovered the ITC listing when our bank alerted us. Despite full settlement, Cell C has failed to act. If not resolved immediately, we will escalate to ICASA, NCR, and the credit bureaus.

Reviewer Update
Cell C has had since 16 August 2025 to resolve my complaint. On 05 September at 10:54, they called and promised a callback before close of business. That never happened. Enough is enough.
  • No resolution.
  • No written reply.
  • Repeated broken promises.
This matter is now being escalated to ICASA with all supporting evidence.
