CELL C DEDUCTION FEES AFTER ACCOUNT CANCELLATION REQUESTED AND PAID
I am extremely frustrated with Cell C and how they conduct business. I had been a loyal customer but as soon as I cancelled my subscription my issues started. My request to cancel my subscription was submitted July 2023 and was requested to pay a cancellation fee to end my contract. The quote was given to me and I immediately paid the cancellation fee. I even informed the person we are immigrating. This all went well and no deductions and no cellular service. Suddenly January 2024 Cell C started deducting money from my RSA account, and I stopped the debit orders. After emailing the initial person and customer services, I was told to call 084134, now how the F@$K DO I DO THAT, from New Zealand. How can a company NOT have a communication line with customers and why is my account not cancelled. Due to this my credit score had been damaged. Get someone from you retention department to email me. **** poor performance and people getting paid without doing their work...
Cell C still deducted via debit order, with no response, my credit record had been negatively affected.
Stay away people...

I was called Wednesday morning SA time, I was informed that I would receive a follow-up confirmation that a my account would be closed by Thursday.
It is now Saturday morning SA time, still nothing.
My telephone is with me 24/7 with one attempt from Cell C.
January a deduction of R39 was made which I did not return, then February R164, March R329 and then today R694, how do you actually get to these numbers???
I am about to submit a complaint to the ombudsman and ICASA, as I have enough evedence that I was in contact with Cell C, and been disregarded as an urgent matter.
