Cell C Debtiting my bank account without my permission for 12 years!

I found out last year that Cell C was debiting my bank account with around R100 every month. I do not have an account with Cell C nor have I got a phone or a sim card and I have never signed anything with the company. I have been with MTN since I can remember.

Naturally I reversed these debit orders with my bank saying that the debit order was not authorized by me. I got a call yesterday from New Debt, a debt collection company stating that my account was in arrears. I informed them that I don't have any account with Cell C and that my account for some reason was being debited without my consent. The person from New Debt then told me that this has been going off my account since 2007!!! They then asked me if my ID book had ever been ******. I said yes this has happened a few times to me before, however the last time my ID book was lost was in about 2003, the lady then proceeded to ask me for the SAPS case number and I was amazed that this person thought that I carry around a case number from way back in 2003. The lady then proceeded to ask me a plethora of questions and wanted me to send her all sorts of documents.

Now I am stuck with this problem that was not caused by me and I will most likely have no option but to proceed against Cell C in the small claims court for the amounts debited from my account since 2007 for a service which I quite frankly don't know what it is, nor have I even used. They will also need to note that they cannot make a contracts that runs indefinitely and definitely not without an agreement.

Cell C please can you sort this out immediately.
