Cell C - Debits Unauthorized Funds And Avoids Resolution
I've had a month to month contract with CellC, the contract was telephonically discussed, I was told I can end it when I want to with a month's notice.
They did not tell me that after 24 month they will double the cost of my contract. I did not authorize that money to be deducted from my account.
When I questioned the increase and aske who authorized they tell me, my contract came to and end and the promotion is not available. On the website its still advertise and available for the same price as I was paying previously.
I have been back and forth with agent and there is an agent who deliberately did not log my case. His name is Sipho Mbhata. When i asked for the reference number he gave me a false number (it was much longer than what i normally would get).
I've been send mails and calling in with no support. You always have to wait for a call from the "Back Office"
I have been charged double what I agreed to pay on 2 accounts for 3 months without my consent. That is 6 counts of unauthorized fund taken from my bank account.
I am stuck with out ideas on how to contract them. I've repeatedly ask for contact for legal/ombudsman and I just get ignored.
Cell C is just not interested in helping their clients.

Some packages come with a discount. Once the contract expires and the account runs on a month-to-month basis, the discount falls away.

You simply throw this comment back at me but you didn't listen what your agent had promised me at the time.
I have disputed this and have asked for the recording to be listened to. This was a telephonic contract.
I did not authorize the amount that i have been charged and this was not communicated to me.
Please refund the excess money you have debited from my account.
