CELL C CUSTOMER CARE STINKS
CUSTOMER CARE THAT SPELLS INCOMPETENCE!!! Cell C are, in my estimation, lacking in customer care and concern for their clients. Failed promises. Queried my Bill. Was advised that my contract expired and I was not advised about this before. Nevertheless the preposterous situation unfolded: Where I was paying for the handset and the "bundle package" for twenty four months in which time the handset was paid off. I am now paying more for the same amount of airtime and data. I was advised as I understood that I was being punished for not renewing my package and selecting another handset. I requested an immediate termination since there was no contract in place. I was advised that this can only be done after a month!!! On which contractual basis was this decided??? Is this not flouting Consumer rights??? My advice to consumers: Beware of CELL C. From my experience this company is only concerned with how they can extract money from consumers. Nothing in return except service that is appalling by any measure! I asked to speak to the Head of Customer Care but this staff member is beyond the customers he is employed to service. My cancellation was the only time I noticed any speed and dexterity. Received confirmation of my cancellation by SMS within minutes. Nevertheless the incomprehensible 30 day "REGULATION" was instituted. I
Please accept our sincere apologies for the unpleasant service experienced.
We take total ownership for not communicating this to you. When the contract expires, customers who do not wish to upgrade their contracts must send us a cancellation request 30 days prior to the end date. Failure to do so, the contract will run on a month to month basis without the discounted benefits.
This is stated in the Subscriber Agreement and we do apologize once again for not communicating this to you.

Best regards,
How is it that when the contract expires the debit order still continues??? Where is the contract that allows you access to debit even after there is no contractual agreement in place???
You have deliberately skirted the issue relating to rotten service and failure to honour promises relating to further calls and such like where promises are made and disgustingly so- never honoured
