CELL C ******

<p>First when I took up the contract with Cell C, I was told it’s a package deal; 2 phones for a monthly fee of R208 but later discovered I was duped. It was 2 contracts, which was still okay since the discussed amount didn’t changed in the beginning . Then I receive occasional calls that my account is in arrears even thou I make sure I have about R 300 in my account for Cell C to debit. So I stop using the supposed free data altogether and got myself another sim card.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now months later when there’s only about 5/6 months left before my contract ends I receive an sms and call from a collections/legal team saying my account is in arrears and I need to pay R2 000 immediately. I’m dumbstruck as method of payment is via debit order and as per my bank statement cell c has been debiting every month.</p> <p> </p> <p>So now I’m told that they were only debiting for the one contract and not the other one which is now at legal and this is now my problem. I’m so stress since day one all the did was tricking me and now again I feel like this is another trick to get me to pay even longer that the initial contract term.</p>
