Cell C Contracts are a ****

I have never been so disappointment, last year December 2020 I received my monthly statement as usually and I decided I would pay off my remaining amount which was R3499,99 for my cell phone contract. In the beginning of January I called Cell C spoke to an agent who I asked for confirmation if I paid the outstanding balance my contract would be paid off. So on the 27th January 2021 I paid Cell C and I asked for a settlement letter, the agent I spoke to advised me they would credit my account until the end of my contract. Fast forward to month May they took R245 from my account, thinking that would be the last time. After the deduction they sent a statement which stated I would be paying the amount I usually pay which is R614. I called Cell C because I was confused and they told me that the agent who helped me made a mistake and should have advised me to cancel my contract of course I was upset but I asked the agent to please put in a request for me to cancel my contract so that I wont have to pay because I budgeted for school for the money they now take out of my account. A few days later a got a call from a Cell C agent who was calling to cancel my contract, she contract that the 1st of August would be my last payment since my contract is coming to an end, after Cell C deducted money from my account on the 1st they sent me a statement that the balance i have to pay is R614 for September. I honestly feel ****med by Cell C
