Cell C - Contract in arrears yet not
I currently have two cell c contracts, in the beginning of July I requested to change my debit order bank account from Capitec Bank to Nedbank and changing dates from 24 to 25 of every month. On the day of the debit orders, cell c tried to process one debit order from the old account and it was rejected due to insufficient funds and the 2nd one was processed late.
To try to pay both accounts on time, I sent an EFT to cell c for both contracts which was R568 and continued to send a proof of payment to cell c but I did not receive any response. Cell c then debited the 2nd contract once I had made the payment so I revoked the debit order.
Days later I received an email from Cell C, it was saying I need to pay my account as it was in arrears. I then called cell c to enquire about the email and the person who was helping said they would fix the issue and I sent the person the proof of payment as she had requested. I had explained to the lady that I am currently in a process of acquiring a house and my credit score needs to not be affected as this would cancel my bond.
On the 8th of August I then received my billing statements and it was implying that I did not pay my 2nd account, I then called Cell C to ask if the issue was not fixed as they had promised it would be. The lady I was on the call with said the issue was not fixed.
I explained the issue again and mentioned the acquisition of the house process again. So I am still waiting for the issue to be fixed, no communication from Cell C. I sent 2 emails last night and no one returned to me.
For a person who once acquired property they will understand that nothing should affect your credit score because it will affect your chances of being granted the bond.
May I please get help.
So I requested for their supervisor and apparently the supervisor is not available. I have literally run out of ways to resolve the issue now. I really don't know what to do. Cell C has really made me feel helpless.
The response I have even been getting through this platform are the most unthoughtful and short responses.
