Cell C - Contract cancellation Very Costly

I recently cancelled my two data contracts with Cell C and as per their standard procedure, notice for cancellation is 30days prior to contract expiring. I went ahead and gave the 30day notice period to end the contract, which expired in May 15, to be cancelled in May 15,last billing period to then be May15.<br> <br> To my surprise when the debit notification came through the amount deducted was R400 more than the normal \subscription fee".
