Cell C continues to bill me after contract period!
My phone was ****** just as the contract was ending. I reported this to Cell C and claimed from insurance. The contact period is up and the insurance claim was rejected but now being reviewed. Cell C continues to bill me even though the contract period is up and I have no phone and no SIM card. I have asked them to stop but the call center is not helpful at all. Simphiwe who refused to give a surname or reference for the call was unhelpful and would not put me through to anybody else who would assist me.
It makes no sense for me to pay for a phone and SIM card I do not own when the contact period is even up.

In line with the terms and conditions of the subscriber agreement, you are required to provide a calendar month notice in order to have your contract cancelled on its maturity date.
If this agreement is not cancelled during the contract period or on expiry of the contract period and is not renewed, then this agreement will run for the contract period and then on a month-to-month basis until the agreement is cancelled.
