Cell C complain about unexpected arrear amount

Good day

I'm writing to express my frustration with Cell C regarding an unexpected arrears amount. When I tried to upgrade my contract, Cell C notified me of an outstanding balance of R849 dating back to 2019. This is shocking to me, as I was never informed about this amount in the past four years.

What's even more surprising is that I was able to upgrade my contract last November without any issues, but now they're claiming I have an outstanding amount on an account I wasn't aware of. This lack of communication and sudden demand for payment is unacceptable.

I request assistance in resolving this matter. Please help me understand why:

- I wasn't notified about the arrears amount for four years - I was allowed to upgrade my contract last year despite the alleged outstanding balance - Cell C is only now bringing this to my attention
