Cell C closed contract but still trying to get payment from a non existing customer
Case number *** - Acknowledged contract cancelation on the 04th October 2022; 09H53am was received from Cell C ***. 06 October 2022 - Payment and Proof of payment to settle the requested outstanding closing amount was sent to ***, as was the instructions on the acknowledgement email dated 04 October 2022; 09H53am.
10 April 2024 - constant threat calls have been made through Cell C for so-called outstanding settlement. When this has been telephonically queried, Reference number ***, Accounts department has no records of a customer called Peter Schneider. Spam calls continued and once again a query was made, reference number *** and contracts department said they never closed the contract.

27 Apr 2024, 21:50Cell C contacted to say that they never received the cancelation payment. After providing written proof, Cell C all of a sudden "found" proof of payment. They again made contact and said there's no proof settlement of cancelation went through to retentions department. Once again written proof was provided. Now Cell C is saying "we only accept phone call cancelations".
Uhm why do you have written correspondence departments who request written proofs to be emailed to them yet you consider this written correspondence department not legal binding.... Please get your legal facts straight, admit you are *********** and leave the 81 year old man alone!

29 Apr 2024, 18:49We've received 4 phone calls from Cell C, repeating the same words, "We only accept phone call cancelations", as a broken record and not acknowledging their mistake nor apologizing for their poor service. Failing to agree to resolve this matter and drop the call while I was still speaking, we hereby make public notice that we addressed this matter and Cell C refused to write off their own mistakes. We will no longer accept your theft calls and as was written and delivered to your written correspondence team, on the 20th of October 2022(last written correspondence), this contract was paid, dispatched to retentions and closed. Cell C acknowledged that the contract number was not in use since the date of written cancelation. Should future attempted calls be made, legal action will be taken.
