Cell C - chasing the sale and monies at a customers expense.

Can there be a review with zero stars, as this is what is needed. In November last year, a ********** Cell C account was opened using my details. I alerted Cell C to such, completed the necessary documentation and was assured that the matter was considered closed. Low and behold on the 01st June, Cell C debited my account. I reversed the debit order, and reported such through the call center. Again I was assured that the issue was being dealt with. Wait for it, the same debit order was submitted on the 01st July. Again this was reversed. Before I could close my bank account, another debit order was submitted. In discussion with Cell C's ***** department, which I called from a Cell C franchise, I was informed that I would have to request a refund as I had closed my bank account (I was not prepared to dispute a debit order again). As the account is listed as *****ulant, I asked if a search a could be undertaken to determine if the bank account was linked to another account. I was politely told this could not be done. I cannot believe that we can put a rover on mars but we cannot search for a bank account number. The lack of willingness to sort out this issue, in my opinion makes Cell C complicate to the original ********** activity. They continued to try and recover monies from a ********** activity. Very disappointing.
