Cell C Cellphone Blacklisting

I feel so disappointed that I cannot blacklist my cellphone that has been ****** because I do not have the box for IMEI no. I was advised that if I cannot get the box I must visit the store where I bought the phone after two years. The store where I bought the phone is in EC and I am currently in WC. So this means I cannot claim from my insurance.
