CELL C can't issue paid up letter for closed account and clear my name!
I was unable to pay my Cell C account due to lockdown and unemployment. After gathering the necessary amount to settle I was advised that the account had been handed over to NBA an external collections firm. I ten received a settlement amount which I happily paid 15/07/2021. Norman Bissett was removed from my credit bureau, however Cell C is still displaying an arrears amount. I have tried with no success to attain a paid up letter from this firm as they claim the ATTORNEYS should've updated this account with the bureau. I need this resolved urgently as my credit record is now badly affected.

03 Aug 2021, 13:30It has been over 6 business days since the initial complaint and response by Cell C and yet not feedback with regards to this matter. I have tried contacting the Customer Service Helpdesk with no success as they keep transferring my to another external department who doesn't even bother to pick up.
This after they promised to clear this when I paid up the account. This is unacceptable that I have to have a judgment on my name for Cell C failure to provide me with proof to state that I don't owe them! Can't this document be drafted? If not, I'll have to take this public.
