CELL C CAN'T DELIVER ON PROMOTIONS

Made contact with cell c on Friday 03/02/23 to upgrade to the samsung s22 ultra on pinnacle 2gb for R1299 x 24 months.

I was told by the gentleman that indeed they had stock for that device and that they'll deliver it directly to me or a branch of my choice, to which i agreed they can deliver it to Cell C Cape Gate branch. We telephonically went through the contract to which i agreed and i was told that i can expect the device in 3-7 working days.

Today 08/02/23 i again made contact to with cell c to follow up with their progress, to my dismay they tell that they no longer have thta device in stock and aren't expecting stock anytime soon and that i should rather upgarde to the s23 ultra.

I maintained the following questions to which they passed the buck to other departments as "im not aware, I'm not in that dept" was their reply.

1. Do not debit me for that contract as i have not received any device.

2. At which point was Cell c planning to inform me the device is not coming?

3. Why are you running a promotion on the Samsung s22 ultra on pinnacle 2gb if you don't have stock?

4. Cell c isn't effectively plannig stock or ordering products to meet demands for promotions as the device is indeed still being manufactured, why isnt it in stock?

I'm honestly appalled with how far cell c has falled from grace, you use the be THE go to for deals and service and I've always maintained that I'll never switch from them and haven't for a better part of a decade.

At this point of the race I'm i honestly can't say i feel the same enthusiasm for cell c.

Please help me out here.
