Cell C cancellations of contract

Two and a few odd months ago I have taken out a data contract with CellC. Two months ago, I wanted to cancel the said contract and sent an email to Cell C, however I used the email *** as well as various other emails to make sure all the departments get the notice of cancellation. This was after CellC has suspended my account AGAIN (see my previous complaint), due to a R39 account in arrears. On the 23rd March 2023, I sent them the cancellation letter and asked them to respond in writing that this account has been cancelled. On the 5th of 5th April 2023 one of the consultants phoned me to confirm that I would like to cancel the account, however I needed to answer a few security questions and seeing that I normally make the payments from my business account, and answered the question incorrect, they said that they cannot help me further. I have to go to the nearest CellC shop and take my ID and cancel it there. Just tell me one thing... why have they ask for confirmation of my email address then if they do not accept the cancellation in writing with my email address on the email. Yesterday the lady phoned me again, and again they asked me for the bank details, again I told them that the debit order goes off from one account, however I also pay from another bankaccount from time to time. Again the call was rejected because I have not given the right answer. Since when can a person not cancel your account in writing.

Thank you for the phone call, however, after I have explained that I have already cancelled my account on the 23 March 2023, Cell C still wants to bill me until the end of April, still taking my money and still not accepting my written cancellation of abovementioned date. Tell me that they would like to hear it from me personally. What happens now if I died and somebody else had to do a written cancellation on my behalf? Are you still going to bill them for the period that they did not let you know. And again, two minutes ago, Cellc contacted me again to ask if I want to cancel this account? Really..... what did they not understand from my emails, my answers via telephone or the messages that I am sending to Hello Peter!
