Cell C cancellation process

A year ago I took out a laptop contract and my contract end date is the 2nd November 2022. End of September 2022 I called to give my 30 days for cancellation. The agent Thulani tells me I cannot cancel on that day it has to be an exact 30 days. I then called back and proceeded with the cancellation process. I expalined to the lady the information that I was given by Thulani regarding when my last payment will be which he said would be the end November. I asked why I was being charged for November when my services will be ending on the 2nd. He says that your benefits will be added on the 1st so you have to pay for the full month. I was confused because how can I use my benefits when the account will be closed on the 2nd. Made no sense. The lady I did the cancellation with advised me that my last payment will be 25th October and there will be no payments after. Today I am being told again about these benefits for November that I have to pay for but my contract end 2 November 2022. According to Cell C my 24th month of the contract is "NOVEMBER" so clearly this date (2Novembe 2022) is not relevant because they are clearly ignoring it and still providing me a service even though at their request I am suppos to provide them with a 30 nothice period. If I am getting benefits for November then my contract obviously does not end on this day. Cell C is advising that because my account is still active and because my cancellation date is after they load benefits I am automatically being penalised with a November bill with benefits that I will not be using and have to wait till December for them to credit me the benefits I have not used. I am still not clear of how this benefits can even be used if the account will be cancelled on the 2nd November 2022. Their cancellation process is a real nightmare it took me numerous calls to finally get the cancellation processed. I am also now being told that I am not only going to be charged for benefits but also for the device. I will nevery be recommending this company to anyone and will not use their services again. Frustrated with these dishonest companies. It has just become about the money and not the service. Quick to sign you up and take your money but when you have paid the contract period then all these additions come up!!!!!
