CELL C CANCELLATION

I phoned the cell c call center on the 01/11/2022 to cancel my contract. My instruction when the guy answered the phone was to cancel the contract and put the number on pay as you go. I have been battling sine then to get the contract cancelled. The service consultant suggested lower affordable month to month contract but never confirmed added products that was linked to the number an now I have to fork out the funds. PLEASE MAKE SURE AS THEY ARE dragging cancellation and do not declare any benefits they can see on there side when cancelling contract. My questions to the them if I requested cancellation and the instruction was done without any suggestions from the consultant, everything linked to the number would have been cancelled as you cannot have a pay as you go with contract benefits???
