Cell C Business Contract Complaint

I felt it fitting to write about my complaint on hellopeter as I have struggled to escalate the matter within Cell C.

I recently started a business contract with Cell C, on Monday (26-11-2018) to be exact. The contract is a business deal which includes "unlimited" minutes. I received a pro-rata amount of minutes (500) together with the contract for the month of November. On Tuesday (27-11-2018) evening I had 400 or so minutes remaining. When I got to work on Wednesday I realized that all my minutes were gone and immediately logged a complaint with the agent that I had bought the phone from.

The agent later got back to me and indicated that I had made a call for 400 minutes (6 hours) from 22:00 on the Tuesday evening. I checked my call log and could not find an outgoing call and queried the issue. I was then informed that they are not able to assist and the only way I could get my minutes back is by querying the bill which will only come through the end of December '18. When asked how they plan to reimburse me in the short term they indicated that I would have to purchase additional minutes.

I have tried to escalate the matter within Cell C as I cannot believe that on a business contract they cannot expect a person to sit for a month until the matter is resolved. It really saddens me that this is the service delivery environment where everyone shrugs their shoulders and says "sorry sir, I cannot assist".

On a more positive note up to this, the in store service delivery was more than satisfactory. I could tell that the sales agent was genuine and not just trying to make commission out of the deal.
