Cell C - Bunch of *******

<p>I contacted Cell C to cancel a paid up contract on 7 July. They advised that I need to give 1 month notice and my account will be debited again on 1 August. This I agreed to. Come 1 September my account was debited again. When I contacted them they now tell me that my notice period only started on 7 August (one month after my initial call) and my one month notice is from 7 August until 7 September, and I therefore have to pay another full month for September as well, even though the number has been switched of and discontinued. This is theft and I demand a refund. How many people find themselves in this situation and how much is Cell C *****ing</p>
