Cell C Broken Network Worst Network Ever!!! Dont waste your money!

Hi,

I would like South Africa to know how really really bad Cell C is. Their mobile data is cheaper than the other networks but it is not worth it. We purchase 200GB Cell C mobile data that we use on our Huawei LTE router for our home. The last 3 weeks since Cell C had the issue where their entire network went down due to load-shedding we have been able to use our mobile data.

We have paid R2000 for 200GB of data and 100GB we cannot use anymore. We have sent mutiple emails and mutiple calls and Cell C does not care!!!

We have 3 prepaid simcards from cell c, we have destroid them all and went over to Vodacom as the network at least works.

One of our family members was envolved in a car accident over this weekend and was so bad as their cell c did not work and could not reach anyone.

Please South Africa, you can do better than Cell C.

I hope Cell C reads this. I want my money back for the 200GBs of mobile data and I want compensation for all the inconvenience.

Cell c gave all its customers 1gb of free data on valid for 5 days. We could not use this as their network has been not working for the last 3 weeks.

Our mobile phones also keep restarting, checked online and seems something todo with currupt packets being sent from Cellc's network.

Thank you Cell C for the worst service and network ever!!! you will never see us again!!!!!

Hi Cell C, Can confirm that you have contacted me, however still very very disappointed in Cell C. Palese confirmed she needs to log this with the "Networks Team" for investigation. We have logged approx 5 calls with 5 ref numbers and nothing has happened. As I have mentioned we are sitting with 100GB's of mobile data that we cannot use. Cell C wont extend our expiry date of the data??? Once again another company in south africa that is robbing and *****ing from the people of South Africa. As long as you keep paying them, they dont give a .... We will make it our life mission to make sure people know how bad Cell C is. We want our money refunded and a written apology for all this drama tears Cell C has caused.

Hi, once again Cell C Tech has phoned and advised that roaming needs to be enabled on the router. I have confirmed that this has already been done and router is on latest firmware. Router has been factory reset aswell and still there is issues with Cell C in Kimberley. Tech pretty said that there is nothing they can do. Cell C I want my Money bac****!!!!!! I have 100GB of data that I cannot use due to network issues in Kimberley!!!!

I just want to say I feel so so sorry for people with Cell C that is locked into contracts with them. We are fortunate not be in contract with them, however R2000 a shot is a lot of Money. I feel I want to tell people think 10 times before locking yourself into a contact with Cell C. When their network is so broken and you are stuck. Dont lock yourself into a contract with Cell C. You will regret it I promise you that. I feel so bitter and disappointed and sad about cell C. They will never see any of my money again and I will make it my mission to tell all how bad it is!!
